After dinner at TGIFriday's (with window seating to watch the "trains"!) we took part in our local First Night celebration. New Year's Eve fun was had by all and the kids were in bed and asleep by 8:30pm. Kevin and I were able to stay awake to watch the various balls drop on tv and then were out with the light at 12:15am.
